Hello, from the 14th of August my former company decided that I should be made redundant as a part of a 50% redundancy scheme to restructure the hotel in all departments. I worked as a front desk receptionist and from the 14th I applied to various jobs including pubs as team member, restaurants as reception or team member or runner, corporate receptions, medical receptions, fast food industries to work for them. From 143 applications I got just 12 responses which were as they said "unfortunately you are not suited for the requirements that we look for" as many of the jobs that I applied and I carefully read them are entry level with no experience written on there requirments amd from those 143 applications only 24 are still active. On my CV I stated my last jobs and what my role was, my education and a small introduction of me, address and everything that would be normal in a CV which was perfectly ok last year when that former hotel company hired me and many other companies and pubs or restaurants asked me to go to their interviews.
