I specifically said the leaving part because earlier he made a fuss over my "constant bickering" about this topic and how he could not live with it anymore. He said that I had assured him at the start of our relationship that finances didn't matter. What he failed to realise is that that thought was never permanent provided that he actually took the right steps to get employed. He was really hurt that I "tore his personality apart" and made it seem like he was worthless. Personally I may have gone a bit far with being critical, and by the end I had no energy to explain my side anymore because he was getting emotional. He did show me the jobs he's applied for and the volunteering positions he found, and once again he expressed that it isn't his fault that no one is taking him. He's now applying for volunteer positions and looking into professional development. I'm glad he is but I can't help but keep thinking how I had pre-empted this last year, the year before, even this year in Jan I had urged him to consider volunteering.

"We just talked about the job that I've done and what we need to do going forward, but, no, nothing like that, " Montoyo said after Tuesday's Grapefruit League win over the Philadelphia Phillies. "Then, of course, he told me he was picking up my option. It was a really good conversation. "This organization gave me my first chance to manage in the big leagues and I will always be grateful to Mark and Ross for that, " he added. "I'm just proud of the job that our coaches and players did last year under difficult circumstances. It was a tough a year and we battled. "We still have a lot of work to do. I'm glad they showed confidence by picking up my option and I'll do my best to contribute to our goal of winning a championship. " Montoyo's 32-28 campaign last year earned him a third-place nod in the manager of the year race — I was a voter and had him third on my ballot, as well, behind eventual winner Kevin Cash and Rocco Baldelli, both good friends of Montoyo — which was deserved recognition for the leadership he provided as the Jays searched for a home and ended up playing out of a Triple-A ballpark in Buffalo.

Excellent service. Good follow thru with courteous, caring staff. We've only had a couple minor claims with our autos. Even the two repair shops we selected mentioned how prompt and attentive their contacts at Acuity are. I've shopped for insurance occasionally just to check on the value I receive. I haven't found justification to go elsewhere. Their price is a good value for their excellent service. After posting a less than perfect review, Acuity worked to determine where the issue originated that was causing our unhappiness. I received follow-up e-mails, and I am satisfied that, in the future, I can address the delays in receiving paperwork with the proper parties. They also have a wonderful website that allows you to print any required paperwork before you get a copy from your agent.

Like others, we would expect high standards of professionalism and excellence (which company wouldn't? ) but feel a more human touch would benefit both employer and employee, and ultimately our customers. If you have a good idea, or some unsolicited advice, we want to hear it. If you're not available for work at night or over weekends, well, that's our fault for not giving you the required notice – or for not organising things properly so that tasks can be completed in normal office hours. While we wouldn't want you playing Farmville, we want people who are comfortable with and understand the benefits that the online world brings. Social networking is crucial for any modern publisher, having employees who can engage with our readers and build our online presence is important. We're aware that people make mistakes, nobody is flawless. If you're willing to learn from them then that's as much as we can ask. We do not create vague, arbitrary office rules which create an atmosphere of tension and unhappiness.
